Auto-Account Creation with Buyer Discovery for HubSpot

With Buyer Discovery for HubSpot, you can use Auto-Account Creation to transfer Buyer Discovery company records to your HubSpot instance when certain conditions are met.

In this article we will walk through configuring rules to transfer Unmatched to your HubSpot Instance.

Setup steps

To create the auto-create unmatched accounts Automation, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Buyer Discovery Account
  2. Click on Exports and select your Hubspot created integration.
  3. On the Hubspot export configuration page, click on the three dotted menu and select “Advanced Settings”

  1. Click “Enable” and select the data for the auto-create condition. With the “Default” option, any new record that has not been matched will be synced.

  1. You can narrow the data segment by specifying a particular Saved Filter.

The next step is to define what type of Unmatched condition to use for auto-account creation:

  1. “No Match” labels those records where we have found no similarity indicating is a completely new record.

  2. “Possible Match” labels those records where we have found a strong resemblance in either the domain name or the company name but are not an exact coincidence.

  3. “All” accounts for any record that is not matched, in this case “No Match” and “Possible Match”

  1. Once configured, click on “Save” to confirm.

  2. Only one Auto Account Creation rule can be set for each Integration. If there is an existing Auto Account Creation rule, you will be asked whether you would like to overwrite the rule or cancel.

  3.  Once the Auto Creation rule is confirmed successful, it will be scheduled to run during the next data sync (data syncs run daily
