Notifying Sales when any Accounts are showing intent to purchase

With Buyer Discovery, you can send email alerts to Account Owners when an account in their Territory is showing purchase intent. Here are the steps:

Note: Before this flow can run, the Salesforce Org needs to have the unmanaged package for Transferring Intent Signals to the Account object. To run the unmanaged package, contact your client partner for the link.

  1. In your Salesforce Org, click on the gear icon, then click Setup

  2. On the Setup page in the Quick Find bar, search and click Flows

  3. On the Flows page, click New Flow

  4. In the New Flow box, select Record-Triggered Flow and click Create

  5. In the Flow creation page, click the Start option

  6. In the Configure Start box, select the Object as Account

  7. For Configure Trigger, select When a record is created or updated

  8. For Set entry Conditions, set the Condition requirements to All Conditions Are Met (AND)

  9. Set the condition so that the Flow runs When Buyer Discovery Purchase Intent does not equal Empty String, and click Done

  1. On the Flow creation page, click the plus button

  2. In the Add Element screen select Assignment

  3. In the Edit Assignment box, create an element named Get Record ID (Type:text), and set it equal to the Account ID of the selected Record, so it looks as shown below:

  1. On the Flow creation page, click the plus button and add an email Alert Action

  2. In the Email alert box, Select an existing email alert to account owners (or create one using the Email Alerts and Email Templates features)

  3. For the Record ID, select the GetRecordID variable

  4. In the Workflow creation page, click Activate

Now, whenever an account is showing intent to purchase, the corresponding account owner for that account will be notified with an email alert.
