Creating a 6sense Segment with Buyer Discovery Data from Gartner Digital Markets

What filters 6sense provide leveraging Buyer Discovery data?


6sense provides five key Buyer Discovery data attributes:


Filter 1

Filter Name: Buyer Discovery Awareness

Description:  Companies that currently have selected Awareness levels for a selected product.  To know more about Awareness, please read this knowledge base article from Gartner Digital Markets 

Additional information:

  • Product Category: 6sense product name mapped to your Gartner Digital Markets product profile

  • Logic available: 

    • Equal, Does not Equal

    • All/Any of the selected values

  • Values available:

    • Low, Medium, High

Filter 2

Filter Name: Gartner Intent

Description: Companies that currently have selected Gartner Intent levels for a selected product.  To know more about Gartner Intent, please read this Gartner article.

Additional information:

  • Product Category: 6sense product name that a Gartner product is mapped to.

  • Logic available: 

    • Equal, Does not Equal

    • All/Any of the selected values

  • Values available:

    • Low, Medium, High, Very High

Filter 3

Filter Name: Gartner Engagement

Description: Companies that currently have the selected Gartner Engagement levels for a selected product.  To know more about Gartner Engagement, please read this Gartner article.

Additional information:

  • Product Category: 6sense product name that a Gartner product is mapped to.

  • Logic available: 

    • Equal, Does not Equal

    • All/Any of the selected values

  • Values available: 

    • Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High

Filter 4

Filter Name: Gartner Categories Viewed

Description: Companies that have visited the selected category on Gartner site within the last 60 days. 

Additional information:

  • Product Category: 6sense product name that a Gartner product is mapped to.

  • Logic available: 

    • Equal, Does not Equal

    • All/Any of the selected values

  • Values available: 

    • Gartner categories 

Filter 5

Filter Name: Gartner Competitor Viewed

Description: Companies that have visited the selected competitors’ profile page on Gartner site within the last 60 days. 

Additional information:

  • Product Category: 6sense product name that a Gartner product is mapped to.

  • Logic available: 

    • Equal, Does not Equal

    • All/Any of the selected values

  • Values available: 

    • Your competitors on Gartner 




How to create a segment on 6sense ABM using Gartner filters?                                                                                                                     

Step 1: Navigate to Segments from the left navigation, then click Create and select Create Segment.

Step 2: Within the following screen, click on Using Filters.

Step 3: From this primary filter creation screen, add Gartner filters by selecting from the list of options in the left pane. Filters can be combined in various methods using the “AND” and “OR” operators in the Filter Logic field at the bottom.

Step 4: Upon selecting the filters that you would like to apply, click on the Show Accounts button in the bottom right. From here, you can confirm or disconfirm that these filters meet your desired criteria and save your segment by clicking on Save as Segment.
